Heaven on Earth

I loved you then, and I love you now.
You don’t have to know; no one has to know.
You will stay in my heart forever,
You won’t stay in my life anymore.

My gut knew how wrong I was doing,
sold my soul in exchange for the pain that was stewing.
In the hope of getting you back
I crossed all lines I could have.

Now seeing myself eye-to-eye hurts,
yet I embrace compassion for all the pain.
Dived in a pool of hell then,
now sprinkled with the dust of heaven.

Cold as ice, I start to melt
with a seedling bursting from within.
Engulfing me in the season of change
with heaven on earth, a beautiful grange!
